The Osborne One was one of the first successful portable computers. I remember when they came out; I got a brochure and instantly wanted one.

Of course, they were way out of my league, even though they were supposedly priced so as to be cheap enough to buy with your credit card. Still, I could lust...

Now I have two of them, one of the earlier, brown case models and one of the later, blue case models.
