Warming up
before a performance is extremely important, to prepare
both the body and the mind. Here's a few cast members getting ready
for a show.
The
Doo-wop girls
from The Little Shop of Horrors, on stage. Giving the
audience a show to remember is always a top priority. These four
worked constantly, during rehearsals and elsewhen to look like a
perfectly matched set on stage.
A solo is both a great honor and a great responsibility. The Company
teaches responsibility as well as music. Here's
one of the soloists
during a holiday carolling performance.
Teens in the company can progress from being a member of the chorus
to solos and lead parts on up to
leading the group
during concerts. Here, one of the company members conducts the group
in a holiday carol.
Even after graduating from the group, Alumni are often still involved,
both with the Company specifically, and in the arts in general. These
three alums
turned out to support their successors at a holiday concert.
The high level of professionalism is consistent throughout every
aspect of the Company. Exquisite costumes are just one more example
of this, as seen here, in a
publicity photo
from Kiss Me Kate.
