Blenwell Upholsterers
Blenwell Upholsterers is no more. Perhaps it is because no one buys
quality furniture anymore, and so it doesn't last long enough to need
re-upholstering. There was a time when furniture was passed from
parent to child, until, after enough children had enjoyed it, it
needed some repair. Today, however, with the abundance of short-lived
marriages, it seems like people's love seats are equally ephemeral.
Does anyone even buy love seats anymore?
And so, Blenwell faded away. I'm sure, however, that when they were
operating, they took as much care with their work as they did in
designing their signage.
