As an interesting exercise, I developed a Quick screen that displays a calendar for the current, or any user-selected month. I've annotated the source code and make it available for anyone who would like to put it to use, as is or expanded to suit a particular situation.
After 30 years of bouncing off the walls, I spent 30 days with a Ricochet wireless modem. I kept a journal of my experiences, which may be interest if you're considering getting Ricochet service yourself. If you weren't thinking of it, read about one of my more recent experiences, and you may change your mind. Don't think you can have mine, though, I'll be keeping mine at least until I'm dead and gone.
I wrote an article for the Atari Bay Area Computer Users Society dealing with the problem of owning an unsupported computer. Although originally written for users of Atari computers, it is applicable to most any computer or software package, as well as many non-technological topics.
