Pictures of other Land Rovers

I'm not the only person in the world who owns a Land Rover. In the course of my travels, I've met quite a few other LRO's. Mind you, I'm no Ansel Adams, but I have managed to snap a few decent shots out of the hundreds of rolls of film I've used. Here's a couple of the better ones...

In the fall of 1991, I made it to the Black Rock Desert for the first time, with a bunch of great guys. Here are some of their Rovers.

Wait! I've got room for another can of Dinty Moore! (38K)

In the summer of 1995, I went to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for a conference. Luckily, I was able to justify the expense of attending the conference by arriving early and attending the OVLR birthday party.

In 1995 I also managed to make it to the Mendocino National Forest, where I happened to run into a bunch of other Land Rover folk.

There are always plenty of Land Rovers at the Palo Alto british car meet. One year (1995, I think) Dom Diaz brought his Land Rover.

The real thing. (32K)

In 1991, my girlfriend and I took a trip to the national rallye in Colorado. We had a lot of fun, met a lot of great people, and saw some really neat Land Rovers.

At the 1997 british car meet, there were, as always, plenty of Land Rovers running around. And this year, many LRO's weren't content to just sit around rubbing their vehicles with diapers.

And the kitchen sink's right over here... (35K)

Up, up, and away! (25K)

Whoa, did you mean to do that? (35K)

So how are you going to get down? (28K)

That's no lowrider! (23K)

Something to smile about... (29K)

The best? Naturally. (27K)

I've got other good photos, honest! It's just these are all I've had time to scan as of September 20, 1997.
